The AMC Real Estate School prepares students for the California state salesperson license exam and rewarding careers as sales agents, loan officers or affiliate positions in this fascinating industry.

AMC Real Estate School is approved and qualified by the California Department Of Real Estate,  (CA DRE Certificate #2892-08 #2893-08 #2894-08 #2895-08) to offer correspondence real estate courses to provide an individual everything they need to be eligible to take the California Department of Real Estate Salesperson's License.

The courses AMC Realty provides are approved for continuing education and college credit by the California Department of Real Estate. However, this approval does not constitute an endorsement of the views or opinions which are expressed by the course sponsor, authors or lecturers.

At the AMC Real Estate School you will receive the required courses to be eligible to take the California Department of Real Estate Salesperson's License in the comfort and convenience of your own time. After completing the courses you will then need to take the final course exam at AMC REAL ESTATE SCHOOL located At 84 Windsor River Road, Windsor, Ca. 95492.

After successfully completing the required courses you will apply to take the state exam with the Department of Real Estate at the Oakland or Sacramento location in order to obtain your California Real Estate Salesperson License. You will have to submit the Course Completion Certificates which you will receive after successfully completing each course.

Be at least 18 years old.

Pass the salespersons exam.

A salesperson is licensed to act on behalf of a broker, and may not act as a real estate agent independently. A salesperson may only work for one broker in California at a time. California does not require an applicant for a salesperson's license to have a high school diploma or college degree. There is also no state residency requirement

Required Education To Be Eligible To Take The California Department Of Real Estate Salesperson's License.

In order to be eligible to take the California Department of Real Estate Salesperson's License you are required by the State of California  to complete 135 credit hours, (45 credit hours in Real Estate Principles, 45 credit hours in Real Estate Practice, and 45 credit hours in one additional elective course that is a DRE state approved course). You must provide proof of completion (certificates) of all 3 required courses when applying for the licensing exam. At the AMC Real Estate School you will receive “Certificates of Completion” for three “College Equivalent” courses required by the Department of Real Estate after successfully completing each course.

AMC Real Estate School Provides The Following Courses To Meet The Educational Requirements By The State Of California:

REAL ESTATE PRINCIPLES COURSE, (3 unit required course)

Real Estate Principles provides a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the sales methods and practices currently used in the California real estate industry. Offering fundamentally sound working knowledge, this subject is an ideal course for license candidates, real estate professionals and mortgage representative trainees.

REAL ESTATE PRACTICE COURSE, (3 unit required course)

The Real Estate Practice course is designed as a practical guide to the basic, everyday activities of the real estate broker and sales associate from setting up the office, selecting and training agents, obtaining and advertising listings, through closing the transactions. Covering all aspects of the field, it is an ideal working course for the real estate professional.

REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE LOAN BROKERING, (3 unit ELECTIVE course)

Mortgage Loan Brokering is designed to provide students with broad technical knowledge of state and federal laws, which govern mortgage loan brokerage and lending in the State of California.

REAL ESTATE FINANCE, (3 unit ELECTIVE course)

Real Estate Finance is designed to provide students with broad technical knowledge of state and federal laws, which govern finance and lending in the State of California.

In addition to the California Department of Real Estate courses required for the Salesperson's license, AMC REAL ESTATE SCHOOL also provides access to our in-house computer internet online “*Executive Programs” that offers several current state of the art effective Test Preparation Tools. This will help prepare you to pass the state license examination on YOUR FIRST TRY.
